At our baby massage classes, we focus on creating a nurturing space where parents and babies can connect deeply through touch. These sessions are designed to guide you in simple, gentle massage techniques that support your baby’s physical and emotional growth, from easing muscle discomfort to improving sleep patterns.
Each session is 90 minutes long and follows the IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage) curriculum. The session also includes moments of meditation and relaxation for parents, allowing you to be fully present with your little one and experience a calming, shared bond.
Baby massage aids in digestive, respiratory, and circulatory health, relieving colic, teething pain, and muscle tension.
Soothing strokes foster security and trust, supporting self-soothing, restful sleep, and early communication skills development.
Massage strengthens parent-child bonding, builds caregiver confidence, and provides a mindful way to connect with babies.
Baby massage offers a range of benefits that support both physical and emotional development. Through gentle, soothing strokes, massage encourages a strong bond between parent and child, fostering a sense of security and trust.
Beyond the physical benefits, regular massage enhances a baby’s ability to self-soothe, supports restful sleep, and encourages early communication skills as they respond to touch.
In the IAIM baby massage course, mothers learn a structured sequence of strokes for each part of the baby’s body, techniques to relieve gas and colic, and how to read their baby’s cues to know when and how to massage. They are taught the importance of timing, positioning, and using appropriate pressure, as well as when massage should be avoided.
The course fosters a supportive community where mothers can connect, share experiences, and build lasting networks, helping to reduce feelings of isolation. It also focuses on bonding and emotional well-being, supporting the development of secure, confident children and reducing the risk of postnatal depression in mothers.
