About the Instructor

Mary Beattie has 15 years with IAIM, working as a Certified Trainer, Instructor, and Massage in Schools Practitioner. She brings expertise from her background in youth work, focusing on healthy relationships, outreach education, and clinic management, making her highly experienced and versatile.

She is deeply practical, non-judgmental and supportive mentor to her students.

Practice Doll Requirement

A baby doll six (6) to nine (9) months size is required for practice during the course. A soft-bodied doll is recommended, as it allows for accurate learning and demonstration of massage strokes. The practice doll is an essential professional tool and is not included in the course fee.

Dolls are provided for use during the training only, however, participants will need to purchase their own afterward for continued practice and professional use.

Infant Massage Dolls

Hand crafted by a community of women in rural India, these dolls are specially created for IAIM Infant Massage Instructors. Made in a small, inclusive workshop that provides meaningful and flexible employment for women, each doll is filled with locally sourced sheep’s wool and materials from within India.

Every piece is unique, reflecting care for both people and the planet. The makers follow a zero waste approach, using all leftover materials to fill smaller products, creating infant massage dolls imbued with warmth, purpose, and respect.

*AED 699 / per doll
**FOR IAIM TT Graduates AED 499 / per doll

Frequently asked Questions

Welcome to our FAQ section! Here, we answer common questions.

Is the certification internationally recognised and accepted in the UAE and abroad?

Yes. After successfully completing the IAIM Teacher Training, you will receive an internationally recognised certificate issued by IAIM Headquarters in Sweden. This qualification certifies you as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) and is recognised in more than 70 countries.

Does this certification allow me to legally teach baby massage in the UAE, or do I need additional licensing?

The IAIM certification authorises you to teach infant massage to parents and caregivers, you are instructing adults rather than performing massage on babies yourself, which normally falls outside massage therapy regulations. However, any additional permits required to run classes independently or to operate a wellness related business must be confirmed according to UAE regulations and the rules of your specific emirate or country of your residence.

Do you offer support with career opportunities, business advice, or potential roles within your organisation after completing the course?

Yes. At the end of the course, we include a dedicated discussion on how to market yourself and establish your practice, and Little Yogi also offers ongoing guidance along with occasional collaboration opportunities and event partnerships.

What career paths do graduates typically follow?

Graduates often integrate these skills into their existing roles as doulas, midwives, nurses, therapists, educators, or wellness practitioners. Many also create mobile or home based practices, offering parent workshops and family support sessions. The qualification provides a flexible foundation suitable for both part time projects and full time wellness careers.
